Zoom for Students

UFV Zoom for Students

A UFV Zoom account will allow you to host and record your own UFV Zoom meeting or to join a scheduled UFV Zoom meeting.

People attending your meeting as well as participants will not require an account or license to join.

You must be a current UFV student, enrolled in the current semester, to have access to use UFV Zoom.

i.e. If you are not a current student, a "You are not authorized to access this site..." error will appear.

Your UFV Zoom account will only let you sign in on ONE account only.

i.e. If you are logged into Zoom in a browser, your login to the Zoom application will fail and vice-versa.

Zoom is installed on computers in UFV labs, but you can download and configure the Zoom app onto your own device.
