UFV Zoom accounts allows students to host and record meetings or simply participate by joining a previously scheduled Zoom meeting.
Note: Zoom access for students is only available to students who are enrolled in the current semester course/s.
If you are not enrolled in the current semester, you will receive an error message saying "You are not authorized to access this site..." when signing in using the steps provided below.
People attending your meeting as participants will not require an account or license to join.
Note: UFV Zoom account will only let you sign in on ONE account only.
If you are logged into Zoom in a browser, your login to the Zoom application will fail and vice-versa.

Then log into and use:
1. Visit the Zoom Download Center.
2. Decide to either use the Download (64-bit) or Download (32-bit) Zoom Installer (the majority of new laptops are 64 bit).
Note: If you are unsure of which download, click System Requirements for the Zoom support article.
3. Click Download and Zoom will save the file ZoomInstallerFull.exe to your device.
4. Once the download is complete, look for the installer file on your device.
Note: Depending on your type of browser, you may need to check your browser download folder to find this file.
5. Click the ZoomInstallerFull.exe to start the installation of the Zoom application on your device.
6. Wait for the installation to complete.
7. If there are any install errors, please contact the IT Service Desk.

1. Visit the UFV Zoom Video Conferencing.
2. Click the Sign in button.
3. Log in with your credentials:
Username:
UFV Student email address
Password:
UFV Student Email Account Password
Note: You may have to enter your security authentication information for the MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).
4. Once authenticated, you will now be able to successfully log in to Zoom.

1. The Zoom application can be installed on Windows and Mac personal devices:
a. For Windows devices, click the Start icon, type Zoom in the search bar and click Open.
b. For Mac devices, use the Search icon on the top right to find and open Zoom.
2. Once Zoom is opened, click Sign-In:
3. Click Sign-In with SSO.
4. Ensure ufv-ca is a domain name.
5. Login with your credentials as below:
Username:
UFV Student email address
Password:
UFV Student Email Account Password
Note: You may have to enter your security authentication information for the MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).
6. Click Open Zoom Meetings to open the desktop app.
7. You are now successfully logged in.

1. Visit Zoom Download Center and locate the section Zoom Workplace for mobile
2. Open/install the Zoom Cloud meetings app on your phone
3. Navigate at the bottom to "Sign In With SSO".
4. Enter the company's domain: ufv-ca (Zoom.us is already pre-filled).
5. Sign in on the webpage with your credentials as below:
Username:
UFV Student email address
Password:
UFV Student Email Account Password
Note: You may have to enter your security authentication information for the MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).
6. You will now be able to successfully log in to Zoom.
Note: Allow all notifications for the app.
