Equipment Reservation

Overview

IT Services offers various AV equipment for loan to students, faculty, and staff for use for a meeting, class, or small gathering.​​​​​​ The types of equipment available include:

  • Projectors
  • Webcams
  • Wireless presenters
  • Microphones
  • Laptops (faculty and staff only)

Borrowers must:

  • Ensure equipment is used carefully in order to minimize wear and tear.
  • Ensure equipment is returned on time and in the same condition as when it was loaned.
  • Return equipment to the same location that it was borrowed from.
  • Notify the IT Service Desk immediately if the equipment is not working properly.
  • Pick up and drop off equipment during the IT Service Desk regular business hours.

IMPORTANT:  The setup, proper use, and care of the equipment is the responsibility of the borrower.  All equipment must be returned at the time designated on the form and within the IT Service Desk regular business hours.

Information Required

UFV students, faculty, and staff can complete the Equipment Reservation form to request use of common AV equipment for your meeting, class, or small gathering. Please provide the following information when filling out the form: 

  • Meeting / class name 
  • Loan start and end date / time
  • Requestor name
  • Group / organization
  • Department 
  • Location of meeting
  • Equipment requested

Instructions

Click on the "Submit Equipment Reservation Request" button and complete all required fields on the form.

A minimum of 2 days lead time is required to ensure the equipment you need is available for your date and time. 

Pick up at the IT Service Desk in Abbotsford G131 or CEP A0006 as indicated on the request form.
