Audio-Visual Event Support

Overview

Planning an academic-related event? The Audio-Visual team can provide support and equipment such as speaker systems, microphones, display carts to help make your event a success. We provide consultation, technical support, maintenance, and installation of audio-visual technology across all campus locations.​​​​​​ 

Use this service to request audio-visual support for an academic-related event.  All requests will be assessed by the AV team before approval to ensure we can provide the appropriate audio-visual support for your event. 

NOTE: Advance notice of a minimum of 5 business days is required. 

IMPORTANT:  It is the responsibility of the event organizer / department to reserve your event space on campus through Room Bookings with a minimum of 1 hour before the event and 1 hour at the end of the event for setup and tear down. Ensure your booking includes the 2 extra hours required. If you require our team to set up before the day of the event, please include this information in the request. 

Information Required

UFV employees can complete the AV Event Support form to request audio-visual support for an academic-related event. Please provide the following information when filling out the form: 

  • Event name
  • Event start and end date / time
  • Event organizer name
  • Group / organization
  • Department
  • Event location
  • Audio-visual requirements
  • If Wi-Fi access for guests is required

Instructions

Click on the "Submit AV Event Support Request" button and complete all required fields on the form.

A minimum of 5 days lead time is required.
