Digital Signage Procurement

Overview

This service is used to request the procurement and installation of digital signage hardware, including TV displays, mounts, and connections. The AV team will provide consultation services to departments interested in implementing a digital signage solution. A time will be arranged to meet and discuss the display procurement options and provide you with a quote and timeline.

Requirements for digital signage installation:

  • TV display - Sony Pro Panel, 55", 65", 75", or 85"
  • Display mount
  • Controlling device - Melee
  • Network drop

Cost: The department is responsible for the cost of the TV display screen, mount, controlling device, installation, network or facilities costs, and software license.

Once a request has been submitted, an AV technician will arrange a site visit to evaluate the requested location and provide installation recommendations. After an assessment is complete, the AV technician will provide a quote for the cost of the hardware needed and any additional costs for the installation. 

Information Required

UFV employees can complete the Digital Signage Procurement form to request a quote for the procurement and installation of digital signage. Please provide the following information when filling out the form: 

  • Manager of Digital Signage name
  • Department
  • Location
  • Requested install date

Once the request has been reviewed, an AV technician will notify the requester to arrange a visit to assess the location.
