Overview

Minitab is a statistical software designed to help users analyze data and make informed decisions. It is widely used for data analysis and teaching statistics. Minitab provides a range of tools for analyzing trends, visualizing data, and performing complex statistical tests. 

This software is available as a desktop application on a UFV lab computer or as web application from an Internet web browser.

  • Allow users to forecast trends and make predictions using machine learning algorithms.

Who can use this service? 

Only authorized students and instructors.

How do I request or access this service? 

UFV employees who are part of the Authorized Account Requestors Group can complete the Software Purchase Request form to request access to Minitab. 

Minitab on a UFV lab monitor: Access Minitab from the Start Menu and sign in with your student or employee email address when prompted. 

Minitab web application: Access Minitab using your student or employee email address at https://app.minitab.com/  

Instructions

Click on the “Submit Application Inquiry Request” and complete all required fields on the form.

This form is used for inquiries about the application, to request more details about the application, or for any questions about the functionality and features of the application.

Contact the IT Service Desk, or check the ticket status in the Online Portal for updates.
