Email Security at UFV

Overview

Your UFV provided email address keeps you connected to important UFV announcements, helps you collaborate with UFV community members, and lets you sign on to several services (e.g., Blackboard/myClass, Office 365 tools, Zoom, and more!).

Quick start - How to Access your UFV Email

To access your UFV email, simply fire up your favorite web browser and head over to the Outlook login page (outlook.office.com).

Once you're there, enter your UFV email address and the password you set up. Click that login button (if asked, verify your login with MFA), and voila!

You can also download the Outlook app for your Android or Apple device. Whether you're connecting on your laptop, tablet, or smartphone, Outlook keeps you in the loop.
 

What's my UFV email address?

• Students: Your UFV email address is typically FirstName.LastName@student.ufv.ca (e.g., john.doe@student.ufv.ca). These details should have been sent to the personal email you used to register with UFV (after you have been accepted as a student).
• Employees: Your UFV email address is typically FirstName.LastName@ufv.ca (e.g., jane.doe@ufv.ca). These details should be passed on to you by your manager when you are onboarded.
