Choose a device and follow the instructions:
Outlook (recommended)
Gmail mobile app
Apple/iCloud mail

Outlook mobile app (recommended)
- Launch the Outlook app.
- Open the Menu and tap Settings.
- Tap Add Account.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your UFV email:
- Enter your full UFV email address (e.g., jane.doe@student.ufv.ca) and password
- Follow any additional on-screen prompts to complete the setup.
Gmail mobile app
- Launch the Gmail app.
- Tap the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the upper-left corner of the screen.
- Scroll down and select Settings.
- Tap Add account.
- Select Exchange and Office 365 from the list of email providers:
- Enter your full UFV email address (e.g., jane.doe@student.ufv.ca) and password
- Follow any additional on-screen prompts to complete the setup.
Apple mail/iCloud mail app
- Open the Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
- Go to Apps > Mail.
- Tap Add account.
- Select Microsoft Exchange from the list of email providers.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your UFV email:
- Enter your full UFV email address and password
- Follow any additional on-screen prompts to complete the setup
Yahoo mobile app
- Launch the Yahoo app.
- Tap your profile icon.
- Tap + Add another mailbox.
- Select Office 365 from the list of email providers.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your UFV email:
- Enter your full UFV email address (e.g., jane.doe@student.ufv.ca) and password
- Follow any additional on-screen prompts to complete the setup

If your email app is not listed above and you need technical assistance, IT Service Desk will do its best to support you.
If IT Services cannot resolve adding UFV email to your preferred app, then using Outlook to view your UFV email will be preferred.
