Njoyn Login Errors

Njoyn is the applicant tracking system used by Human Resources. The access permissions to the Njoyn portal for employees are provisioned by the Human Resources department.

To login to the Njoyn portal, use the following credentials:
       Username: UFV employee email address
       Password: UFV email password

To log out of the Njoyn portal, click this link.

When logging into Njoyn you may receive errors depending on the different situations listed below.

Njoyn Login Error

You may receive different error messages when logging into the Njoyn portal. Listed below are common Njoyn Login errors with resolution:

 

Error: ProcessSamlSsoResponse.......SAML Response missing assertion....

If you are receiving the following error message when logging into Njoyn, follow the steps shown below to resolve the error:

ProcessSamISsoResponse() error: SAML Response missing assertion. [192553]

 

Employees can log in to Njoyn portal using only UFV email address or AD username e.g. joed

Reason

  • This error comes up when the employee attempts to log in to Njoyn portal using employee numeric ID.

Resolution:

  1. Please make sure any of the applications are closed in your browser and follow the steps shown below:
  2. Click on the sign-out link here.
  3. Once you see "Sign Out - You have successfully signed out", close the browser window.  
  4. You should now be able to log into your application with the credentials mentioned above.
  5. If the issue is not resolved, Contact IT Service Desk here and provide the screenshot of the error message received.

 

Error: User name someone@ufv.canot found. [SSO_USER, #####]

User name firstname.lastname@ufv.ca not found. [SSO_USER, 429867]

Reason

  • This error is because the profile existed in UFV Azure but not on the Njoyn side. 

Resolution

  • If you see this error when trying to log in, you will need to contact HR to resolve this issue. ITS do not have access to modify Njoyn accounts.
