AV Setup ABB-205

The audio visual system in Abbotsford B-205 includes:

• Two 85-inch Displays
• A Touch Control Panel for each of the displays
• Speakers
• Two handheld Microphones
• Bluetooth receiver for wireless audio playback. 
• Wireless and wireless presentation options

*Speakers are located beside Display 1 and used for video playback, music or voice reinforcement via handheld microphones.

1. Locate the Control Panel closest to the Display you want to use. 

2. Enter the pass code into the Control Panel. (Passcode must be obtained from Ancillary Services)

1. Press the Wireless button on the Control Panel near the Display you are using.

2. Follow instructions shown on the Display for your type of device (i.e. Windows, MacOS, iOs or Android) 

3. When your device prompts you for a code, enter the code shown on the Display.

4. Optional: If you would like to show your content on both displays at once, press the Link Displays button the Control Panel.

1. Locate the Retractor for Wall Plate 1 behind the bar.

2. Pull the HDMI or USB-C cable from the Retractor and connect it to your device.

3. With your device connected, select HDMI or USB-C on Control Panel 1.

4. Optional: If you would like to show your content on both displays at once, press the Link Displays button the Control Panel.

1. Get a USB-C or HDMI cord from the AV Cabinet (right-hand cabinet, top shelf)

2. Connect your cable to the Wall Plate 2.

3. Select HDMI or USB-C on the control panel.

4. Select UFV AV System in your device’s sound settings

5. Optional: If you would like to show your content on both displays at once, press the Link Displays button the Control Panel.

1. Take the handheld microphones from their charging bay in the AV Cabinet.

2. Turn power on by pressing and holding the red power button located on the bottom of the microphone.

3. Control volume and mute for the mics by pressing the Mic Controls button on Control Panel 1.

4. Mics can be muted from the Mic Controls page or with the buttons on the footer of the main page. 

1. Log in to Control Panel 1

2. Select the Bluetooth button.

3. The Bluetooth receiver’s name D_BTN21 will appear below the Bluetooth button.

4. In your device’s Bluetooth settings, select D_BTN21 from the list of available Bluetooth devices. 

1. Check your display settings are set to Duplicate/Mirrored.  

Windows 11:
Press [Windows Key] + P and select Duplicate. 

MacOS:
Extend or mirror your Mac desktop across multiple displays. See: Apple Support (CA) 

2. Ensure the video source on the Control Panel matches the connection to your device (i.e. Wireless/HDMI.USB-C).

Make Sure UFV AV System is selected as your output device in your sound settings.

Windows:

1. Click Speaker icon in the taskbar at the bottom-right corner of your screen. 

2. Click the arrow (caret) next to the volume slider to view connected audio devices. 

3. Select the desired audio output device from the list.

1. Change the sound output settings on Mac - Apple Support (CA)
