The applications below have been blocked from being installed on any UFV computer.
Artifical Intelligence Applications
These AI applications have been known to be bundled with adware, and are flagged as potentially harmful software by reputable antimalware services. They can attach to your account and join your online meetings without your approval. For this reason, they are blocked from being installed on UFV computers.
Remote Access Applications
The following remote access applications are commonly used by attackers for establishing persistent connections and control of desktops. For this reason, they are blocked from being installed on UFV computers.
- AnyDesk
- UltraVNC
- Splashtop
- Real VNC
- TeamViewer
- LogMeIn Central/Pro
- LogMeIn RemotelyAnywhere
- LogMeIn Rescue
- Ammyy Admin
Other Applications
These applications have been known to be bundled with adware or malware. For this reason, they are blocked from being installed on UFV computers.
