Restore Zoom or Collaborate Recording

Overview

Use this service to request restoration of a Zoom or Collaborate Ultra session recording that has been removed from the system.  Recordings can be retrieved from 2019 onwards. 

Zoom recordings will be removed from Zoom Cloud storage one month after the end of each term to maintain UFV's storage allotment. Collaborate Ultra recordings are removed after one year.

TIP:  If you need to keep a Zoom or Collaborate Ultra session recording ensure you download the recording and save to your OneDrive or upload the recording into the Kaltura media repository. 

Information Required

UFV faculty can complete the Restore Zoom or Collaborate Recording request form to request the restoration of a Zoom or Collaborate Ultra session recording that has been removed from the system.  Please provide the following information when filling out the form: 

  • Course ID / course name
  • Session name
  • Session date and time
  • Additional comments

Instructions

Click on the "Submit Restore Recording Request" button and complete all required fields on the form.
