Restore Collaborate Ultra Recording

Overview

Collaborate Ultra session recordings that are more than one year old are removed from the system to ensure that we stay within our file storage allotment. 

Use this service to request restoration of a Collaborate Ultra session recording that has been removed from the system.  Recordings can be retrieved from 2019 onwards. 

TIP:  If you need to keep a session recording past one year, download the recording from Collaborate Ultra and upload the recording into the Kaltura media repository. 

Information Required

UFV faculty can complete the Restore Collaborate Ultra Recording request form to request the restoration of a Collaborate Ultra session recording that has been removed from the system.  Please provide the following information when filling out the form: 

  • Course ID / course name
  • Session name
  • Session date and time
  • Additional comments

Click on the "Restore Collaborate Ultra Recording" and complete all required fields on the form.

Contact the IT Service Desk, or check the ticket status of your tickets in the Online Portal for updates.
