Course Restore / Recovery

Overview

Use this service to request recovery of accidentally deleted content (e.g., assignments, exams, materials) from a course or to restore a course that is no longer in your Course Modules. 

IMPORTANT:  Content from accidental deletions can be recovered if the deletion has occurred within the last 35 days. Backups of data are completed around 2:00 AM each day.  Restore of older courses can be completed if the CRN is known.  If you do not have the CRN, you can locate it through the timetable archives

Information Required

UFV faculty can complete the Course Restore / Recover request form to request a course restore or recovery of deleted items.  Please provide the following information when filling out the form: 

  • Course ID / course name
  • Time content was deleted (if applicable)
  • Additional Comments

Instructions

Click on the "Submit Course Restore / Recover" and complete all required fields on the form.

Support

Contact the IT Service Desk, or check the ticket status of your tickets in the Online Portal for updates.
