Minitab Windows Install

1. Go to gateway.ufv.ca.

2. Sign in with your UFV credentials:

Student

Username: Student ID 
i.e. 300123456
Password: myUFV password

Employee

Username: AD username 
i.e. lastnameFirstInitial/s (doej)
Password: UFV email password

Navigate to the following folder:

For students

• Student\Instructor_files\MinitabDepot\Home Use\WINDOWS\Minitab 21

For employees

• Employee\Public\Campus Software\_licensed\CAMPUS\Minitab 21

Right-click minitab21.exe to download.
 

Locate and double-click on minitab21.exe to begin the installation.
 

1. Click on Next.
 

2. Click on Next again.
 
3. Check I accept the terms in the license agreement and acknowledge the Privacy Policy and click on Next.
 
4. Select Activate with a license and click Next.
 
5. Select Sign In and Click Next.

6. Click Next to install in the default location.

7. Click on Install to begin the installation.
 
8. Click Finish.
 

1. Click on the start menu and search for Minitab Statistical Software, by typing minitab.
 
2. Open Minitab and you will be presented with an Authentication-required window. Click on Sign In... button.
  
3. You will be taken to a Sign-in portal in your web browser.

Sign in with your UFV student/employee email address, and fill password when prompted.

Employees:

Log in with your UFV email addresses
e.g. john.doe@ufv.ca
 

Students:

Will also log in with their UFV email addresses
e.g. john.doe@student.ufv.ca  

Once the Sign In is complete you can close the browser and start using Minitab.
