MFA Temporary Access Pass

What is temporary access pass?

A temporary access pass is a passcode that lets you to verify your identity when signing in, instead of your usual MFA method.  

A temporary access pass may be right for you if:

  • The device you use for MFA verification is lost or stolen, broken, or you temporarily can't access it
  • You are setting up a security key or passkey
  • You will be travelling internationally, with or without your device

How to request a Temporary Access Pass

Please contact IT Service Desk to request a temporary access pass. Have the following information ready:

  • Why you require a temporary access pass (e.g. broken or lost phone, setting up security key, travel, etc.)
  • How long you need it for 

Your request will be assessed and if required, a temporary access pass will be generated for you.
