BIOS Upgrade

Overview

Follow the steps below to upgrade BIOS on a UFV computer from the Software Center.

Find BIOS in the Software Center

  1. Save and close any open documents on your device.
  2. In Windows Search (bottom left), type in: Software Center.
  3. Click the App icon or Open to go to the Software Center.

  1. From the left menu, click Operating Systems.
  2. Choose BIOS-DELL Upgrade V220926.

Choose when the upgrade will be done

To upgrade BIOS immediately, click Install:

To schedule upgrade BIOS outside the business hours of 10pm to 5am:

  1. click Schedule:
    Schedule button to upgrade BIOS outside business hours
  2. Choose Install outside business hours and OK.

Once the BIOS upgrade completes, your computer will restart and give you the option to log back in.
