Manually Syncing UFV Device to AO VPN

Follow instructions on how to manually sync a UFV device to the AO VPN connection:

  1. Click the Windows Start Menu button in the bottom left of your screen to see menu choices.

  2. On the left side of the Windows Start Menu, click Settings to open Windows Settings.

  3. Find and click on the section Accounts.

  4. Click Access work or school from the left menu.

  5. Click Down Arrow on the right side of the page. 
  6. Then, click the Info button. 
  7. Scroll down the page to find the section Device sync status.

  8. Wait for sync to complete, and possibly sync again if VPN doesn’t connect with five minutes. 
  9. To check your device's WiFi VPN status, first click on the WiFi icon in the taskbar in the bottom right corner of your screen and then VPN icon.

  10. A new VPN profile UFV AO VPN User should be listed as Connected. 
  11. If your device is not connected, choose the UFV AO VPN User label and click the Connect button.
