Use myGRADplan

MyGradPlan makes it easy to track your progress—see your program details, credits, grades, and even try out “What If” scenarios for future plans:

Program Overview – See details about your current program of study.

Requirement Status – Check which program requirements are complete and what’s still pending.

Credit Tracking – Monitor total credits earned and those needed for graduation.

Grade Display – View grades once they’re processed at the end of each semester.

Exceptions & Equivalencies – See approved requirement exceptions and courses counted as equivalent.

Course Flags – Identify repeated or courses that do not meet requirements.

Non-Applicable Courses – Find courses that don’t count toward your program.

Unassigned Courses – Review courses that don’t fit into any requirement block but remain on your record.

Coursework Summary – Track completed, in-progress, and planned courses.

Printable Record – Get a print-friendly list of all courses taken, including transfer credits.

“What If” Scenarios – Explore how changing majors or minors affects your academic plan.

MyGRADplan pulls information from the UFV Academic Calendar and student record history for:

• All undergraduate programs
• All graduate programs
• And some progams in:
  • Applied and Technical Studies
  • Continuing Education
  • Upgrading and University Preparation

Students in non-academic programs do not receive audits but can use the “What If” feature to explore potential academic programs.

Steps on how to log into myGRADplan:

1. Go to myUFV and log in.

2. Search for MyGRADplan card.

3. Click GO TO MYGRADPLAN.

myGradPlan is fully mobile-responsive, so you can plan your academic path anytime, anywhere—right from your phone or tablet.

Each section in MyGRADplan is a block.

Block headers show the title, credits required/applied, GPA, and a status symbol.

Your audit’s blocks vary by degree, diploma, or certificate.

Student Header Block

View student ID and name and program information, academic standing and institutional GPA.

Degree Progress Block

View percentage of courses in progress and programs requirements.

Degree, Diploma or Certificate Block

View requirements for program(s).

Notes Block

Look for any notes added by your advisor pertaining to your program.

Legend Block

Use the legend symbols to interpret important information on your Program Audit.

This feature lets you plan and see audit results using courses you plan to take in future terms.

This is an example of a mock student and they add ENGL 100.

1. Enter the subject and course number, then click Add after each course entry.

2. After adding all planned courses, click Process to view results.

3. The Course Requirements block now includes the new course and flagged as PLANNED.

4. Also, the Degree progress visual will also reflect the change.

This feature lets you see audit results using additional areas of study to your current program. 

This is an example of a mock student in the Bachelor of Arts program and they add a What if to taking a Major in English.

1. Click the What-If tab

2. Select English as a Major.

3. Major English appears under Areas of study

Also a new program block appears.

4. In the example shown below the same student in the Bachelor of Arts adds the Co-operative Education as an additional as area of study to their program.

5. The new program block appears.

This feature lets you see audit results when a proposed program change is being considered using your current class history. 

Select the What If criteria for the scenario, then click the Process What-If button to view the results of the audit. 

Note: You must choose the current or a future calendar year and your chosen program. If the Major field does not autofill you must use the drop-down list to choose an option. Some Majors will require that you choose a concentration as well.

Provides a listing of all the courses you have taken, with grades and credits, grouped by the term taken in chronological order.

Three calculators available for your convenience:

• Advice Calculator

1. In the worksheets, click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner of the Worksheets page.

2. Select GPA Calculator.

3. Choose the tab of your choice of calculator.

Save your scenarios as PDF then choose to print or email with your Advisor.

2. Choose to print or share so your Advisor can then see them.

• This audit is not your academic transcript and it is not official notification of completion of degree, diploma or certificate requirements.
   
• Students completing a credential are required to Apply to Graduate.
   
• The official graduation requirements are listed in the University of the Fraser Valley online Calendar.
   
• If there is any discrepancy between MyGRADplan and the official UFV Academic Calendar the Calendar takes precedence.
