Need to know your program requirements or which courses you still need to get your degree?

Want to predict how changes (like switching majors) would affect your academic path?

Or which courses transferred with you when you enrolled at UFV?

myGRADplan (also known as a Program Audit) pulls data from the UFV Academic Calendar and your UFV student record history to provide you personalized overviews and scenarios.

Explore the following information in myGRADplan with your Advisor to ensure you're on track:

- Student and program information
- Courses and requirements completed and fulfilled
- Credits earned and still required
- Student grades
- Course exceptions
- Course equivalents
- Insufficient and repeated courses
- Courses taken but not needed to graduate

Access MyGRADplan

1. Log in to https://my.ufv.ca

2. Search for MyGRADplan card

3. Click Go to MyGRADplan

4. If an info page appears, review it and then click the link Access your personal MyGRADplan here!.

Program Audit

A UFV Program Audit displays a Worksheet of your completed and outstanding requirements for your credential, including courses taken, grades, credits earned, and more.

Programs available

All undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as many Applied and Technical Studies, Continuing Education, Upgrading and University Preparation programs.

If an audit isn't available for your program, try using the What-If feature.

Top section

Verifies your Student ID and Name.

Student View

Shows your enrolled program, institutional GPA and credit summaries.

For example: A student has been admitted to the Bachelor of Arts program and has declared a Major in Psychology with a Minor in Communications.

Scroll down further to see what the requirements are for the BA program.

And scroll even further down to the Psychology major and a Communications minor requirements.

What-If

The What-If feature lets you explore how your completed and in-progress coursework would apply to a different program, major, minor, or concentration.

Note: Once you are admitted into a program, myGRADplan will show the requirements and you won't need to use the What-If function.

1. Click What-If in left menu.

2. Select the Program.

3. Select Majors or Minors.

4. Select any additional areas of study (majors and minors).

5. Use the green Add button to place the additional areas in into the Chosen areas of study box.

6. Click the green What-If button.

7. The results will show you what courses you have completed or have in progress to meet the requirements for that program.

Note: The audit is not an official transcript and does not confirm graduation. Students must still Apply to Graduate.

8. Optionally, you may want to choose a future Calendar Term to see how requirements might change.

Note: What-If may allow you to pull in options that are not allowed in a program.

Always check the official UFV Academic Calendar to make sure what you've chosen is okay.

And if you see something that doesn't look right, contact your Advisor to review it.

Look-Ahead

Use the Look-Ahead function to course plan for future semesters.

One at a time, enter a course you wish to take and click the green Add course to see where it will fit in.

For example: A student decides to take PHIL100 in their next semester.

The requirements now includes the PHIL 100 course highlighted in blue and flagged as PLANNED.

Save or Print

Save your scenarios as PDF then choose to print or share so your Advisor can then see them.

Note: Use myGRADplan as a guide only. To switch programs, contact your UFV Academic Advisor or the UFV Registrar’s Office to make a formal request.
