UFV students can securely access and manage their files and folders at UFV using several methods:

While on a UFV campus computer or connected to the UFV network, students have access to three mapped drives:

R: drive (HomeDir) — Personal storage (approx. 1 GB). Add, modify, and delete files.

Q: drive (Instructor_Files) — Read-only access to files uploaded by instructors (e.g., course materials).

P: drive (Public) — Shared student public storage; read/write access for all students.

Log into your network drives (R, Q, and P) remotely through the myUFV portal:

1. Go to myUFV.

2. Login using your UFV student email address and password.

3. Expand the three-bar menu.

4. Click Community.

5. Find the IT Web Resources card and click Access myFiles Online.

6. Log in again to open myFiles.

As a UFV student, you receive a Microsoft 365 account which includes OneDrive:

Storage: Cloud-based personal file space synced across devices.

Access Methods:

Features: Upload, share, edit collaboratively, and access anywhere. Files are stored in Canada.
