Body
Zoom Workplace is a secure video conferencing platform supporting virtual meetings, screen sharing, and collaboration from different devices.
UFV employees have access to licensed Zoom accounts, allowing them to host meetings for classes, team collaboration, or events.
Participants, including students, do not need a Zoom account or license to join a meeting - they can simply click the meeting link to join.
Zoom is pre-installed on UFV-issued computers.
Below are instructions for also downloading and installing Zoom on your personal desktop or mobile device.
Note: A UFV Zoom account will only let you sign in on one account only. If you are logged into Zoom in a browser, your login to the Zoom application will fail and vice-versa.
Open Zoom on a UFV-issued computer
1.Once you are logged into a UFV-issued computer, click Start.
2. In the Search field, enter Zoom.
3. Open Zoom Workplace.

Join a meeting allows one to join a meeting without a Zoom account.
Sign in allows for one to sign into an existing Zoom account.
Your UFV Zoom Login and Password

Username: UFV employee email address
Password: UFV email account password
Note: You may be prompted to enter your authentication information for the MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).
