UFV employees travelling outside of Canada for business will incur roaming expenses when using a UFV-issued mobile.
If the roaming expense is for a personal trip, you may be required to reimburse the UFV for these overages.
Rogers Roam Like Home (Automatically applied)
This feature allows users to use the data/voice available with their regular plan in countries other than Canada for a daily fee while traveling.
The daily fee while traveling in the US is $16/day.
The daily fee while traveling internationally is $18/day.
Note: This is good for users who are going away on short trips (four days or less).
Roam Like Home Travel Passes (Alternative to Roaming Plan)
Roam Like Home Plan Travel Passes ensure devices will have a cost-effective package for a flat fee.
Travel passes must be purchased prior to travel and cannot be backdated.
Each Travel Pass provides access to the data, talk, and text services from your existing plan for a consecutive period of 14 or 30 days, as selected at time of purchase.
Calls and texts to and from Canada, and within your roaming destination are included.
If you call or text a country other than Canada or your roaming country, long distance charges will apply

Monthly Billing Report
Accounts Payable will send out a spreadsheet to each department with a summary of the Rogers mobility devices that incurred charges for the billing period ending on the 12th of each month.
Total amounts are charged to the specific budget code noted in the spreadsheet provided.
