Client Portal full search

Used to search for Knowledge Base articles, Services and Service Offerings in TDNext.

The search box in the client portal with the best results is the Search the client portal.

Full Search

Read lookahead results while you are typing in your search criteria.

Pressing Enter or click the magnifying glass icon to submit your search terms and return a list of matching articles.

Use operators to modify your search. For example:

  • Cats AND dogs will find results including both cats and dogs.
  • Cats NOT dogs will find results including cats and exclude all results that include dogs.
  • Cats OR dogs will find results with either term.
  • As the OR operator is the default search operator, the previous example would be equivalent to searching for cats dogs.
  • "Cats and dogs" will search for results including the exact phrase "Cats and dogs".
  • #Animals will search for articles that are tagged with the Animals tag. 

Knowledge base specific search (advanced search)

Log into the Client Portal, click on Knowledge Base, and then in the top menu, click on the word Search at the far right.

KB Search
Search a group name:

  • Next to the Owner field, click on the magnifying glass icon .
  • Do a search in the pop-up window.
  • Select a group you to populate the Owner field.

Search by Article ID:

  • In the Search field type the Article ID.
  • Click Search.

Search by Tag:

  • Type # followed by the tag name i.e. #monitor
