Sections of a Brightspace assignment

Each of your Assignments will display these sections:

Your assignment may be listed on the Assignments page or linked directly in the course content.

There are different ways to access assignments, depending on how your instructor set them up.

Submission options may include:

File upload

Text entry box

Follow the steps below based on where your assignment appears and how it needs to be submitted.

If your instructor inserted a link to your assignment as part of a list on the Assignments page:

1. Login to Brightspace at brightspace.ufv.ca/

2. Select the name of your course.

3. In the green course navigation bar, click Activities.

4. From the drop down menu, select Assignments.

5. Click on the name of your assignment.

Then you will either see this view of File Submission,

Or this view of a Text Submission,

If your instructor inserted a link to your assignment directly into the course content:

1. Click on Content in the course navigation bar.

2. Find your assignment on the page.

3. Click on the assignment link.

Then you will either see this view if the assignment has a File Submission,

Or this view if your assignment has a Text Submission,
