Creating an Extended Learning Account

Overview

To register for an Extended Learning or Industry Services course, you must have an Extended Learning account. Follow the steps below to create an account from scratch or create an account and link it with a previous UFV student account.

Access the Extended Learning or Industry Services Course Shops

Navigate to https://extendedlearning.ufv.ca/.
Select either "Login" in the top right corner or proceed to checkout with a course in your cart.

Navigating your UFV Status

Important: If you have taken classes at UFV but not a Continuing Education or Industry Services course, you will still need to select "Create Account".

You will then see the "Log In or Create an Account" page. If you have registered for an Continuing Education or Industry Services course before, you can select "Continue". Otherwise, select "Create Account". If you were previously a student at UFV but not in an Extended Learning course, you must still select "Create Account".
When asked if you have previously applied to or taken a course at UFV, select "Yes" if you have taken a UFV course before. If you have not taken a course at UFV before, select "No".
If you selected "Yes" to being a previous student, you will be prompted to sign in with your student email address and password.
- The email address is in the format firstname.lastname@student.ufv.ca.
- The password will be the same password you use to access myUFV, myClass, and your student Outlook.
