Book An Initial Consultation

This article explains how to book an Initial Consultation with an Intake Counsellor. Before you can book, please check that you have:

1. Completed an Intake Form. See Fill out an Intake Form for help.
2. Received a message in the Student Health & Wellness Portal from the Intake Counsellors with instructions. See Check Your Messages for help.

     1. Go to ufv.ca/counselling and click on Book Now, or visit studenthealthandwellness.ufv.ca.

     2. Sign in with your UFV student e-mail and password.

     3. Confirm your date of birth and click Proceed.

To access the Appointments page, you can:

• Click Appointments in the left-hand menu.
• Click Schedule an Appointment on the Portal home menu.

Click on the booking link in the list at the top of the page.

     1. If prompted, enter a Callback Number and click Continue.

     2. To search for an appointment, select if you'd like an In Person or Televisit (Zoom) appointment. You can also select days of the week, and whether you want to search for appointments in the morning (AM) or afternoon (PM).

• If you select In Person, choose the campus in the drop down menu. 

     3. Click Search for Appointments.

     1. Select an appointment time and click Continue.

     2. On the next page, click Confirm.

     3. A success message will appear. Click Continue.
