How to Register for Classes
Create a Registration Plan
1. Log into myUFV using your UFV student email address (i.e. firstname.lastname@student.ufv.ca) and password.
Note: You may be required to do Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO).
2. Under Registration card, click Registration dashboard.

3. On the Registration home page, click Register for Classes.

4. Select a term from Terms Open for Registration drop-down menu and click Continue.

5. Register in one of three ways (see page tabs).
- Find Classes: Search for and select your classes.
- Enter CRNs: Input a course reference number(s) directly into the Enter CRNS tab.
- Plans: Create a predefined plan.

6. Click a Class Title to view Class Details for that Section.

7. Add all your classes, then click Submit to register.

8. A successful registration appears under the Status column as Registered highlighted in green.

9. An unsuccessful registration appears under the Status column as a red error message. The second red message at the top of your screen will describe the type of error and the Action column will show a suggested resolution. Click Submit to perform the suggested action(s).

10. To be placed on a waitlist, click the drop-down arrow and select Waitlist, and then click Submit to save your changes.

11. To register for a lecture with a lab or seminar, you must register yourself in both the class and lab/seminar.

12. To withdraw from a class, click the drop-down arrow and select Drop via web, and then click Submit to save your changes.

13. To view your registered courses and position on any waitlist, click the page tab Schedule Details.
Note: Expand the course by clicking on the icon next to the course to view all information about the course including the waitlist.
