Print to a student lab printer

Printing services at UFV are provided through PaperCut, a print management software.

Students can print to any UFV student printers with a attached print release station.

Cost to print

Letter, b/w, single-sided 15 cents
Letter, colour, single-sided 50 cents
Letter, b/w, double-sided 12 cents
Letter, colour, double-sided 45 cents

If you are working on a campus UFV computer:

Choose the print option from your software's menu.

If you are printing from your own wireless device:

In a browser, go to printing.ufv.ca.

Log in with your UFV student credentials (either UFV student ID or UFV email address).

Go to Open the UFV Printer Application

Select Web Print from the menu.

Click on the Submit a Job green button.

1. Printer

Select a printer and its location.

2. Options

Select the Print Options and Account Selection green button.

Select your options: black/white or colour option and number of copies.

3. Upload step

Click the Upload from computer green button and find and select your documents.

OR

Drag documents into the Drag files here window.

 Upload documents or drag into window area.

Repeat as necessary to upload all files that you want to choose to print.

Select the Upload and Complete green button.

You will receive a pop-up message, Your document has been held in a queue.

Your browser screen will also show the status, Held in Queue.

Submit a Job

Go to any student printer with a release station attached. 

Login into the release station by tapping or swiping your print card.

Select the job(s) you want to print and then select Print.
