This article contains instructions on how to adjust the AVD Web Client (Azure Virtual Desktop Client) display to optimize you AVD experience.
Full Screen Mode
Whenever possible, it is suggested that users take advantage of the full screen option provided by the web client. To switch to full screen mode, locate and click the icon that shows two arrows pointing away from each other in the menu bar.

Unpin the Menu Bar
On occasion the menu bar may cut off part of the desktop, to unpin it locate the thumbtack icon on the bar and click it.

When your cursor is not at the top of the screen the menu bar will disappear.

To pin the menu bar move your cursor to the top so the menu bar re-appears and click on the thumbtack icon again.
Enable Native Display Resolution
To enable native display resolution, follow the below steps:
- Go to settings (this can be done before selecting the virtual machine or after you have logged into the VM)

- Locate the Display Resolution section and toggle the Enable Native Display Resolution option to on (blue)

Note: If this does not seem to improve your experience, it is suggested that you disable the setting as it can cause increased CPU or network usage
Adjust Browser Zoom
Zooming in to and out of the browser will also allow you to adjust the way AVD is displayed. Each browser is different, but most should have a zoom option in their menu. Below are examples of how zooming out impacts the appearance of AVD in a browser.
Default (100%)

The bottom of the virtual desktop is cut off, and the application window appears squashed.
Zoomed Out (67%)

The entire virtual desktop is displayed and the application window appears normal (not squashed).
