Overview
A minimum of 5 days notice is required for smudging support.
Utilize this service to request support for smudging within the University.
The preferred smudging space at University of the Fraser Valley is the UFV Gathering Place on the Canada Education Park Campus. To book the Gathering Place contact Xwexwílmexwawt.
Where it is not possible to utilize the Gathering Place, approval may be granted for smudging to occur as part of an Indigenous event in a classroom or other areas.
Smudging should be completed at least 30 minutes prior to another group or class entering the location.

You will need to include the following important information as part of your request:
- Date of Smudging
- Start and end time
- Room location
