Overview
This service is used to request a video to be reviewed and uploaded to the goUFV YouTube channel.
As the social media account primarily serves the University marketing initiatives, not all requests to have videos posted on the channel are relevant or applicable.
The primary purpose for UFV's YouTube channel is to showcase recent or upcoming special events, highlight Convocation, showcase faculty, student and staff in additional to promoting the various departments and programs we offer.
If your video is informational or promotional in nature and can enhance the YouTube channel, then it will be placed online in the appropriate playlist.
Information Required
UFV employees can complete the Upload YouTube Video form to request upload of a video to the goUFV YouTube channel. Please provide the following information when filling out the form:
- Department
- Video title and description
- Video type
- Location of video
- Video playlist
Instructions
Click on the "Submit Upload YouTube Video Request" and complete all required fields on the form. As videos are too large to send by email, please place your video on the shared / TEMP drive.
Upon receiving your video submission, our Marketing Strategist will review your video, provide feedback, and provide branding support. Once approved, your video will then be placed online in the appropriate playlist.
