Overview
The UFV Safety and Security team is committed to ensuring safe and secure campuses at UFV by providing additional security for incidents and special circumstances (e.g., flood, fire watch, etc.). UFV employees can request additional security for an incident or special circumstance by clicking the "Request Additional Security" button.
If you need an escort for a "Safewalk", go to this service instead.
NOTE: This service is only monitored during UFV's regular business hours.
In an emergency, always call 911 first (9-911 from a campus phone). For first aid assistance, call 1-855-282-7770 (local 7770). For security, call 1-855-239-7654 (local 7654).
Information Required
UFV employees can complete the Request Additional Security form to request additional security for an incident or special circumstance. Please provide the following information:
- Name
- Employee number
- Department
- Campus
- Location details
- Budget code
- Spending authority approval
- Start and end dates
- Reason for extra security coverage
Instructions
Complete all required fields on the Additional Security request form. An approval from the spending authority is required. The system will send an approval email to the spending authority annotated in the form. The spending authority will need to click on the link in the email to approve the request. Once approved, the Security team can then process your request.
