Request a security escort for any reason, any time of day
UFV's Safewalk program is available 24/7 to any member of the UFV community who would like an escort to any location on our campuses.
You can book your Safewalk escort ahead of time, or at a moment's notice — security is happy to help either way.
Five easy options to request your Safewalk
Submit the Safewalk Request Form
Use the Safewalk request form available by clicking on the "Request Safewalk" button to request a security escort.
IMPORTANT: Submissions for this service are only monitored during UFV's regular business hours. To request an escort outside of these hours, please use one of the following options.

We have security offices on the Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Mission campuses.

Use a security call station
If you do not find a security guard at our office, simply press the red button for a direct line to the guard on call.
Use a blue security tower
There are five security towers located in Abbotsford campus parking lots. Press the button to speak to a security guard.
Information Required
UFV students and employees can complete the Safewalk Request form to request an escort. Please provide the following information:
- Name
- Department
- Date and Time of Safewalk
- Whether request is one-time or recurring
- Campus
- Starting Location
- Ending Location
Instructions
Complete all required fields on Safewalk Request form. A security guard will reach out to you for next steps.
