Starting a Trades program at UFV? You may be eligible for entrance scholarships designed specifically to support your success in trades education.
One application covers all UFV Trades Entrance Scholarships.
Award Selection
- Recipients are selected by the Entrance Scholarship Selection Committee.
- Decisions are based on, but not limited to, award criteria, high school grades, and letters of recommendation.
Before You Begin
This application must be completed in one sitting. You cannot save and return later.
Please prepare all required documents before starting the form.
Required Documents
- 1 page cover letter about yourself, your goals, accomplishments, and educational plans.
- Most current transcript, displaying grade 11 and 12 grades.
- Any additional documents required for specific entrance awards (see Award Guide).
Note: Make sure you meet the criteria for the scholarships you select.
Applications missing any of the required documents will be considered incomplete and cannot be assessed.
How to apply?
Click on the “Submit Trades Entrance Scholarship Application” button and complete all required fields, including uploading all documents listed above.
Note: You do not need to be admitted to UFV to apply.
Applications must be received by the UFV Financial Aid and Awards office on or before September 10th. Most award winners will be notified by the end of September. Due to the number of applications, we will only be contacting selected recipients.
