UFV staff & faculty can install free software applications from Microsoft Store on their company-provided desktop or laptop.
Note: The steps below should only be followed for free software applications only. For any paid application, please submit a software purchase request.
Follow the steps below to install applications from Microsoft Store.
- Press the Windows key on your keyboard and search for Microsoft Store.
- From the search results, click the Microsoft Store icon.
- From the list of available software will be displayed, select the program you would like to install.
Note: You can also search for a specific application. In this example, we’re installing the Evernote app.
- Click on the Get button.
- The application will start installing.
