When signing in to some third-party apps with your UFV account, you may see this Approval required screen.
The permissions requested by the app will be listed on this screen. You should review them and make sure you expect the app to do these things.
How to request approval
Please note: This approval only allows you to sign in using your UFV account. It does not constitute a functional, business, or cybersecurity endorsement of the application itself. Any evaluation of functionality, suitability, or business alignment should be completed by submitting a software purchase request .
- Enter a justification for linking this application to your UFV account.
- Example: "Needed to complete assignment" or "Screen reader for accessibility"
- Click Request approval. Your approval request will be sent to the appropriate area. Please allow up to 5 business days to process your request.
If your request is approved, you will be able to use the app with your UFV account.
If your request is denied, you will receive an email with more information.
