Classroom shutdown checklist: Steps to follow to run off AV system, computer, and lights when your class is finished and you are leaving the room.

To help reduce energy use and extend the life of UFV classroom equipment, please follow the steps below to power down classroom technology after end of your class:
1. Turn off the AV system
On the podium touch panel, press the Power Off button.
Wait until:
- The Power Off button turns solid white, or
- The touch screen displays a confirmation that the system is shutting down.
2. Log out of the classroom computer
Click Sign out / Log out from the computer menu.
Note: Do not power off the computer—it needs to remain on for system updates.
3. Turn off the room lights
Use the wall light switch near the exit before leaving.
