Early Move-in Request

Overview:

This service is used to request to move-in earlier than the official move-in date for new or returning students. Requests will be subject to the approval of Housing Operations. If approved, you will be charged $30/night for each extra day before your move-in date.

Requests for early move-in must be submitted at least two (2) weeks before the official move-in dates for new or returning students to housing. 

 

Additional information:

  • Late forms will be subjected to a $25.00 administration fee, which will be applied to your housing account. 
  • Students should know that they may need to make alternate arrangements should Housing Operations be unable to accommodate your request.

IMPORTANT: Ensure that you have read your UFV Housing & Campus Living Contract and the UFV Housing & Campus Living Handbook agreements before submitting this request.
 

Information Required

You will need to include the following important information as part of your request:

  • Student name
  • Student number
  • Phone number
  • Requested move-in date
  • Reason for early move-in
  • Documentation if applicable
