Account Transfer

Overview

An Account Transfer Request is necessary when expenses have been charged to the incorrect account, funds need to be transferred to another department, or for other account adjustments.

To ensure that the adjustment or transfer is made, the account transfer request must be submitted and completed within the same fiscal year.

Note: An approval from the spending authority is required before this request will be fulfilled.

Information Required

You will need to include the following important information as part of your request:

  • Budget code to be charged ("from" account)
  • Budget code to be credited ("to" account)
  • Activity code
  • Amount
  • FAST document number, if applicable
  • Reason for transfer
  • Spending authority of the accounts

Instructions

Click on the "Submit Account Transfer Request" button and complete all required fields on the form.  

An approval will automatically be sent by the system to the spending authority annotated on the form.
