Overview
UFV staff & faculty can install free software applications from Microsoft Store on their company-provided desktop or laptop.
Note: The steps below should only be followed for free software applications. For any paid application, please submit the software purchase request.
Follow the instructions below on how to install applications from Microsoft Store.
- Press the Windows key on your keyboard and search for Microsoft Store. From the search results, click the Microsoft Store icon.
- A list of all available software will be displayed. Select the application you’d like to install. You can also search for a specific application. In this example, we’re installing the Evernote app.
- Click on the Get button.
- The application will start installing.
