myUFV: Logging into the portal


How do I access myUFV portal to see student or employee information?

Browse to my.ufv.ca using your internet to go to myUFV portal.

What is my username?
Your username is your Student or Employee ID number (often starts with 3000, 2000 or 1000). This number is recorded on your UFV Student/Employee Campus Card.

What is my password?
Your password is the six numbers of your birth date, in the format YYMMDD where YY is the last two digits of the year, MM is the numeric month, and DD is the day of your birth date.
For example, April 16, 1956 is 560416

*If it is not your first time logging in, then your password is another exactly 6 digit number that you would have changed previously. Try to remember it and try again.

Change your password
Once you have successfully logged in the first time, please change this password (PIN) to another 6 digit number by clicking on the Personal Information link (under myUFV Records Services).

Your new password must be exactly 6 numbers long. Please wait at least 10 minutes before using your new password for the first time!


What if I have forgotten my password or my default password does not work?
Confirm your student or employee identification number is correct with your Campus Card or course registration receipt.

Click: Reset Your Password (under Help & Information).  Your answer must match exactly the answer that is on file. It is case-sensitive.

If you cannot answer your security question correctly in five attempts, your account will be disabled.  You will still be able to log into myUFV, but access to certain personal confidential areas (i.e. your grades, your registration details, etc.) will be restricted.

You now have the following three options to have your password reset:

a) In Person:  Bring your Student/Employee ID Campus Card to any Admissions & Records office or to IT Service Desk (Abbotsford B241) for assistance in resetting your password.

or

b) FAX: Complete the Reset myUFV Access Form and FAX it along with your photo ID to any Admissions & Records office.  The signature on the photo ID must match the signature on the Password Request Change Form.

or 

c) Scan/Email:  Complete the Reset myUFV Access Form and scan/email it along with photo to reginfo@ufv.ca.  The signature on the photo ID must match the signature on the Password Request Change Form.

I've been locked out!

myUFV will suspend your account if it detects too many attempts to login with the wrong password.  When this happens, you will be locked out for 30 minutes only. You may try again after 30 minutes.
