UFV employees and students can install SPSS 30 software on a personal Windows computer by following these steps:
Access the download
1. Go to gateway.ufv.ca.
2. Sign in with your UFV credentials:
Student
Username: Student ID
i.e. 300123456
Password: myUFV password
Employee
Username: AD username
i.e. lastnameFirstInitial/s (doej)
Password: UFV email password
Browse to your folder
Navigate to the following folder:
For Employees:
Employee\Public\Campus Software\_LICENSED\CAMPUS\25.182 SPSS 30\Windows
For Students:
Student\Instructor_files\SPSS\WINDOWS\30
Right click IBM SPSS Statistics.msi to download
1. Locate and double click on IBM SPSS Statistics.msi to begin the installation
2. Click on Next
1. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement and click on Next
2. Click Next to install in the default location
3. Click on Install to begin the installation
4. Keep Start IBM SPSS Statistics now checked and click on Finish
1. Click on Launch License Wizard
2. Select the Second option: Concurrent user License as selected in the image
3. Enter the following address orangejustice.bc.net and click on Next when asked for license file.
4. This window ensures licensing is complete. Click Finish
