  • Blocks harmful websites automatically, using high confidence threat information shared by the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS)
  • Helps prevent malware from infecting your devices and blocks access to known phishing scams

How to Get Started

You can use Canadian Shield in three ways:

  • Browser Extension – ideal for laptops and desktops, available for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge
  • Mobile App – download for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play)
  • Home Network Setup – Configure your home router to protect all devices on your Wi-Fi
