Overview
Logistics Services is responsible for all shipping and receiving of goods on campus. If you need to ship anything off campus, including returns and repairs, submit the Shipping Requisition form. Your budget code will automatically be charged for the cost of the shipment.
Outgoing parcels must adhere to all postal shipping rules and guidelines. Review the Canada Post sending guidelines for more information on how to prepare your parcel for shipment.
Note: Logistics Services will inspect your package to ensure it meets all rules and guidelines. Your ticket ID number must be written on the top/front centre of your parcel. The ticket ID number can be found on the email you receive after submitting the shipping requisition form.
Information Required
You will need to include the following important information as part of your request:
- Domestic or international
- Prepaid or collect
- Budget / index code
- Courier name and account number (if applicable)
- Recipient name, phone, and email
- Recipient address
- Package contents and dollar value
- Total value of goods
- Insurance information
- Return reasons (if applicable)
- PO / RMA number (if applicable)
Instructions
Click on the "Submit Shipping Requisition" button and complete all required fields on the form.
Indicate on the form if you need your package picked up from your UFV location. You can also bring your package to Logistics Services at B110 on the Abbotsford campus.
IMPORTANT: Your ticket ID number must be written on the top/front centre of your parcel. The ticket ID number can be found in the email you receive after submitting the shipping requisition form.
